Welcome to PP Health Malaysia (PPHM). We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based health news and opinions. These guidelines are designed to help authors submit articles that meet our editorial standards and contribute valuable content to our readers.

Scope of Contributions

We accept submissions from qualified health professionals, researchers, and experts in relevant fields. Articles may include original opinions, reviews, research summaries, case studies, and commentary related to health, medicine, wellness, and public health.

Submission Requirements

  • Originality: Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere.
  • Evidence-Based Content: Articles should be supported by credible scientific evidence, with clear citations from peer-reviewed journals or authoritative sources.
  • Language & Style: Use clear, professional language. Avoid jargon to ensure accessibility for a broad audience. Follow British English spelling and grammar conventions.
  • Length: Articles typically range from 1,000 to 2,500 words unless otherwise agreed.
  • Formatting: Use standard fonts (e.g., Arial or Times New Roman, 12pt), double-spaced paragraphs, and numbered pages.
  • References: Use a consistent referencing style (e.g., Vancouver or Harvard), with complete bibliographic details. Include DOI or URLs where available.
  • Disclosure: Declare any conflicts of interest or funding sources related to the article.

Submission Process

  1. Register as an author on the PPHM portal.
  1. Submit your manuscript via the online submission system in text format.
  1. Include a cover letter summarising the article’s significance and confirming originality.
  1. Await initial editorial review to check suitability and adherence to guidelines.

Peer Review & Editorial Process

  • Submissions undergo rigorous editorial assessment for accuracy, relevance, and quality.

Ethical Standards

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software.

Post-Publication
